Hi! I'm Cris, and I’m the heart (and hands) behind Feast Flavors by Cris—where charcuterie meets creativity, and flavor always comes first.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, I grew up surrounded by bold spices, family gatherings, and the kind of food that brings people together. When I moved to the U.S., I experienced full-on culture shock—why did everything taste so... different? While I adjusted to life here, one thing never changed: my love for cooking.

I’ll never forget the first time I cooked by myself in the U.S. I decided to make moro, our beloved Dominican rice and beans dish. But instead of following the traditional steps—starting with the sofrito, then adding the beans and rice—I made plain white rice, seasoned it, and then added the beans. I’ll never forget how surprised my mom was at how good it turned out and how much she appreciated it after a long, hard day of work. That meal, even though it wasn’t “perfect,” was the first time I truly felt the power of cooking—and how food can bring comfort, no matter where you are.

For 15 years, I worked in banking. Yup—power suits by day, apron and wooden spoon by night. Even during my busiest days, I was dreaming about what I’d cook next, testing new recipes, or feeding friends just for the joy of it. Eventually, I listened to that little voice (okay, it was more like a loud shout) telling me to follow my passion full-time.

That passion led to Feast Flavours by Cris. I chose the name because it reflects exactly what I hope to bring to every table—abundant, joyful feasts and bold, unforgettable flavors. And yes, I spelled flavours the “British” way on purpose. To me, it just adds a little extra flair—something classic, global, and a tiny bit unexpected. Just like my food.

Now, I blend global influences with family-style cooking, create beautiful grazing tables, and design charcuterie boards that are anything but basic. Whether it's a cozy meal prep session or an over-the-top spread for your special event, everything I make is meant to be shared—and deeply enjoyed.

So welcome to my table. Grab a bite, stay awhile, and let’s make something delicious together.
